Amazing bird feeder camera for uncovering the hidden world of birds. It comes with a full house for storing seeds, water, and nesting material. It is solar powered and has motion detection and recording. Set up took 10 minutes to put together and hang up with either straps or a stand or wall mount. The material is sturdy and can be positioned on a tree free hanging.

There are pluses and minuses to this device. It's not my first bird feeder camera so I have some experience with others. I will say I like the build quality of this feeder. It's easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. I also like that you don't have to take the whole feeder in to recharge the battery. The camera disconnects by itself. But the solar charger is not much help. The last feeder I had had a solar charger and I never had to recharge the battery. This one doesn't make much difference at all. I haven't had the feeder up for a full week yet and the battery is already below half capacity. The quality of the pictures is another thing that I am really impressed with! But the Birdlover app is not a good app. It's rated 2.3 out of 5 on the Google Play site for a reason! It took a long time to get it connected and a lot of that time was spent figuring out the steps in doing it. Not user-friendly. Plus when you open the app, it's difficult to figure out where you can see what. Bird identification is not always accurate and it's difficult to delete pictures so the storage on the SIM card may not last long. I don't want to pay for Cloud storage or a new SIM card but it may come to that. For these reasons, a 3 is the highest rating I could give it.
